Arlen Stawasz
Arlen Stawasz is a globally charged climate action activist focused on architecture, interiors, and urban design techniques based in Berlin, Germany. He currently serves as an EU Regional Resilience Leader for Gensler Europe advancing ESG design and development for zero energy, carbon, and water projects. He is an expert on resilience planning, climate adaptation, social equity strategies, and emergency disaster response systems. Arlen has conducted extensive research in many countries to learn from the both the modest and most advanced water focused societies and their unique conditions of living with water and extreme heat. He has learned from many communities across the globe in his research spanning over ten countries (e.g., Bangladesh to the Netherlands). He also serves as an adjunct faculty member of the Boston Architectural College teaching advanced resilient design and climate adaptation architectural studios.
